When it comes to mashups, enterprise-style or otherwise, there's more to meets the eye. SOA, for instance, even if most folks creating mashups do not think of what they're doing as SOA.
"Mashups are indeed SOA, and SOA is indeed including the concept of mashups," David Linthicum explains in this Real World SOA post. "In fact when considering mashups, they are one of the most successful aspects of SOA, and the use of mashups is exploding now, and thus the best proof point of SOA."
