The problem with 'sandbox' security clients

CheckPoint's ZoneAlarm ForceField Web browser security software, like most of its class, promises superior protection against all malicious Internet threats.

That's the problem.

"Although ForceField does offer some real improvements over the other products I've reviewed, it wasn't enough to stop malware from infecting my test systems," Roger Grimes explains in ZoneAlarm ForceField: Compromised in 60 seconds.

As the title suggests, it took less than a minute and a mere 3 clicks on malicious links for Grimes' test systems to get infected.

"I'm still not convinced that any product of this type offers complete enough protection to be strongly recommended."
