Debian to rename FireFox in next release
Seems that Debian and Mozilla can't see eye-to-eye on how to deal with patches and tweaks to Firefox. I see the arguments on both sides but while it's a drag to stuck with the Mozilla rules of engagement and distribution it's a better move for them to work together. If nothing else, Firefox is a recognized brand--which tends to help new users feel more comfortable a product (for better or worse.)
Thus far Ubuntu is sticking with Firefox, which I agree with.
