Zimbra goes offline

As announced at Web 2.0 last week (and as noted here by the O'Reilly Radar), Zimbra has added offline capability to its open source email offering. This has been a long time coming for the Web 2.0 world, and is a great move forward by Zimbra.

Anything you do on the Zimbra system while offline is stored in the cache, and then synched up when you're back online. Simple, necessary, and effective. This marriage between offline and online is just what Web 2.0 has needed. Good work, Zimbra!
