At Microsoft's SPARK now, in Vegas. It's Saturday afternoon, and I'm working and blogging. Not much to report thus far, just introductions and coffee. There is an eclectic mix of people here, including end users, vendors, analysts, and of course Microsoft people. I was surprised to see a guy from Oracle here, but why not.
Looks like we're going to be developing a common view of architecture using more modern notions, such as Web 2.0, SOA, MashUps, etc. It will be interesting to see what comes out of all this, and if everyone can reach a consensus. Big brains in the room this weekend. I'll keep you up to date.
I hope to record some sound bites for the Podcast tonight, perhaps from the bar.
