Brian Madden on Longhorn Terminal Svcs.
Brian Madden has done a great job detailing Microsoft's complete feature list for Terminal Svcs in the post-Longhorn era. Stuff looks pretty cool.
Look for a more integrated Windows experience (probably just make the terminal window harder to see--HA!), a new client-side app publishing capability and a new plug-and-play peripheral driver scheme, too.
One that's got me happy is a new management console. As in single, one, uno. Right now, that's a multi-tool process that's a real posterior pain.
MS is also going to put in a full Web interface. That could be highly useful--even behind the firewall. But they'd best be testing the hell out of security for outside the firewall.
This just a few things among many more. Click on over. Good read.
