For many of us, we've moved beyond server consolidation and we are heading toward using virtualization to help with disaster recovery. And also working toward that goal, three products were recently combined to run just such a test - using DataCore's SANmelody technology combined with VMware and Xsigo to showcase that capability across quite a long distance. And Xiotech is also looking at the virtualization space as they move to automate VMware storage management across array, ESX, and virtual machine layers.
