Decrypting SSL is important
Blue Coat announced that it will be putting out the ProxySG appliance in January '06 that will be able to decrypt Secure Socket Layer (SSL) traffic.
Of course, you'll still need to give the ProxySG your SSL certificate so that it can intercept that encrypted Web traffic, decrypt it, and tell you if you're being taken advantage of by nefarious individuals.
We'll have a review out shortly of the McAfee IntruShield IPS that also has this ability.
